About us - how and why we got started

Let me start by introducing ourselves. My name is Justin Evans and my business partner is Jason Hughes. Unfortunately our photos can be seen on the right!
Child Care First came about because our family, friends and colleagues were always
asking the same question:
"Where can I find information on childcare providers without physically going out
to see them?"
This question was asked so many times, we thought we would put all the childcare
providers together with as much information as possible with photographs, feedback
ratings and the facilities on offer so that parents can make an informed decision
about childcare in their area.
Yes, there are Government websites and other directories but none offer the level
of detail about each provider that parents want to see. A name and telephone number
is simply not enough.
Our feedback system allows parents to view comments and recommendations from other
parents as word of mouth is still the very best form of advertising.
Some providers do have their own websites which of course we link to, but there are
a large number who don't. The full page of information available through Child Care
First can act as a primary website for any business or just to compliment an existing
one.
We feel very strongly about making the right decision where childcare is concerned,
after all it is probably the most important decision that any parent will ever have
to make.
Child Care First is still a relatively new site but we have already put 1000's of
parents across the UK in touch with suitable chilcare in their local area.
We have been so successful in fact, that we now get many requests from parents for other
child related business. For example: Children's Activity Centres, Bouncy Castle Hire,
Photographers and Children's Entertainers etc.
We are doing our very best to bring these companies on board as quickly as possible
to offer even more choice and make it even easier for parents what with todays hectic
lifestyles.
